my new favourite thing [31 Dec 2009|12:09pm] ashbyduck quote collage, Rumi, originally uploaded by ashbyduck. to make and to do: (now that I've given everyone their presents I can post a picture!) so I realise no one cares...but this is my new FAVOURITE way to make art! I made variations of this for several people this year, but this is one of my favourites. I made a collage I antiqued the frame I painted a quote on top of the glass...this added depth and made the quote stand out a bit more (and was fun!) the end. I like it. a lot. okay? (other versions included prints of pictures I've taken, or painting trees on rice paper, so it is see through.) 2 comments|post comment
